This organization is a lot smaller then it may appear. My name Is Brian
Craig, and I am the owner of DefendChrist.Org. I go by the name "Defend"
on my Internet ministry, my newspaper ministry, and other Christian and
philosophical forums and media. I say we are small because I have a small
support group who know me best for my Christian editorial in my hometown newspaper. Your
support, participation, and contribution is welcome on the website, so
feel free to let us know if you have knowledge that would fit on the website.
I was born again in 1981, in a jail cell, where God radically began altering
my life. From a lifestyle of petty drugs and alcohol, today I have long ago
dropped those vices from my life through God's providence. I now have a
sound theological foundation, including 15 years experience in Christian
Apologetics. I am deeply read and studied, and also a ardent student of
Christian Theistic philosophy (Theism).
As a baby-Christian, I quickly fell into charismatic circles and fell
prey to doctrines that were aberrant, unorthodox, and even heretical. While
the charismatic movement, in and of itself, is not unbiblical, many
ministries within the movement practice new age metaphysics such as word-faith
theology, demoting God, and deifying man. As true Christians, it is our
duty to obey scripture (1 John 4:1, 1 Peter 3:15, 2 Tim. 2:15), and give
light to those who are being confronted by false teachers.
I live in South Central Texas, I am 51 years of age, and have been married
for 4 years. My beautiful wife, Sonia, born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, came to
America when she was 33 years old. I first met her 8 years ago when we were
both 43.
